Intro to Keiki Hula/'Ori

For Boys and Girls

Ages 5 - 8 ~ Tuesdays, 5 - 5:45 pm

Young dancers are introduced to basic hula steps, language, dance etiquette and simple songs.

Intro to Keiki Hula/'Ori

For Boys and Girls

Ages 9 - 12 ~ Thursdays, 5 - 5:45 pm

Young dancers are introduced to basic hula steps, language, dance etiquette and simple songs.

Keiki II - Hula/'Ori/Maori

Ages 6+, Wednesdays, 5 - 5:45 pm. By invitation only.

Dancers continue with more language and technique and are introduced to Tahitian 'Ōte'a (Tahitian drum dances) and Maori dances of New Zealand.

Keiki III - Hula/'Ori/Maori
Ages 7+, Wednesdays,  6 - 6:45 pm. By audition/invitation only.

Keiki learn more complex Hula, Tahitian & Maori dances.

Liko Pua - Hula/'Ori/Maori

Wednesdays, 7 - 7:45 pm. By audition/invitation only.
Advanced older keiki/young teens. Competition level.

Intro to Adult Hula

Thursdays, 6 - 6:45 pm

Men & women ages 13 & up  are introduced to basic hula steps, language, cultural practices and proper technique. 

Beginning Adult Hula

Mondays, 8 - 8:45 pm

Men and Women Ages 13 & up continue to learn more basic hula steps, language, cultural practices and proper technique. 

Intermediate Adults Hula

Ages 13+, Tuesdays, 6 - 6:45 pm

Dancers are trained for performances and as assistants in other classes. (by invitation only)

Mākua ​and Kūpuna Hula
Men and Women Ages 35+, Mondays, 6:00 - 7:30 pm

Tahitian - 'Aparima & Mehura
Ages 13+, Tuesdays, 7 - 7:45 pm

'Aparima and Mehura are Tahitian dances accompanied by music and drums where dancers tell stories with their hands much like hula. Dancers also learn Tahitian cultural traditions and language, as it relates to the songs and dance interpretations.

Ori Tahiti - 'Ōte'a

Ages 13+, Wednesdays, 8:00 - 8:45 pm

Dancers learn and drill traditional dance steps accompanied by recorded tahitian drumming. Proper technique and body posture, as well as cultural history and language as it pertains to tahitian dance is also taught in this class. (by invitation only)

Polynesian Dance Conditioning Class

This class is perfect for anyone looking for a low-impact dance-oriented fitness routine. The instructor uses a combination of hula and tahitian dance basics, combined with contemporary dance. No dance background needed to participate. Our PDC class is suited for all levels.

Ori Tahiti - Solo Training

All ages, Fridays, 6:00 - 7:00 pm

Open to anyone who wants to condition their 'Ori technique, build their strength and stamina, and develop powerful stage presence.
