Dorothy has been dancing most of her life. From early ballet lessons to watching her mom dance Hula, she has always been drawn to dance! She has just finished her 7th season dancing for the Golden State Warriors' Senior Team, The Hardwood Classics. Dorothy danced with Dance/10, performing locally and in Europe during the London Olympics. She started studying Hula with Halau Makana in 2014 and fell in love with Hula and with our dear Kumu Lani. She created a class with Makana, called "Polynesian Dance Conditioning," where they mix the styles and music for a fun and educational hour of dance. She currently teachers Hula at the Mastick Senior Center every Tuesday.
