CURRICULUM & PROMOTIONS
All beginning level classes will start over at the very first introductory level lessons at the start of each session. In other words, every beginner class will begin back at the basics and introductory level language. Those who wish to move up in levels will need to consult Makana about class promotions.
Auditions will be held at the end of each session for those interested in moving up a level and in performance, competition, etc. opportunities,
-
For Hula, you can find advanced level class criteria and past audition rubrics here.
-
‘Ori Tahiti students can level up whenever they personally feel ready and interested in moving up.
MISSED CLASSES
There are no refunds or make-ups available for classes missed at your own discretion. You are, however, allowed to join other classes within your same level (i.e., any beginning level classes for beginners or any classes for intermediate/advanced dancers).
There is no guarantee that the class you choose will be learning the same dances/curriculum as your regular class.
-
For example, if you are in Beginning Adults Hula, you may make up your missed class in Beginning Adult ‘Ori Tahiti even though the class curriculum is not the same. This is simply an opportunity for you to make up any class time that you paid tuition for but missed at your own discretion.
BILLING & CANCELLATIONS
You will be automatically billed on the 1st of every month until you submit a cancellation form.
If you wish to cancel or pause your enrollment, you will need to fill out a cancellation form, per Harbor Bay Club policy. If you plan to return to classes, you will fill out a new student contract to reinstate your enrollment. Please submit your cancellation form at least 6 days before the next billing cycle.
